Global Compact

Belcorp has signed into the United Nations Global Compact, voluntarily undertaking to adhere to the 10 principles it sets out in the areas of human rights, labor rights, environmental rights and the fight against corruption.

Private Sector Leaders Forum (PSLF)

In September 2009, Belcorp became a member of the Private Sector Leaders Forum (PSLF), a World Bank initiative that brings together leading businesses from all over the world committed to the economic empowerment of women. The 650,000-strong network of beauty consultants and counselors represents a great opportunity to achieve a positive impact on the lives of thousands of women and, through them, on their families and environment. This has led us to be recognized and to commit ourselves as key actors in driving development in the region through women’s empowerment.

Other alliances

In every country where we operate, Belcorp has joined local organizations committed to acting in a socially responsible manner. Belcorp regards this commitment as essential and has joined forces with other companies whose practices contribute to sustainable development in society.

In Peru

Belcorp is a member of the Perú2021 organization.

In Colombia

Belcorp is a member of the Social Responsibility Committee of the National Business Association (ANDI).

In Venezuela

We are on the Social Responsibility Committee of the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber of Economic Integration (CAVECOL)

We are also part of the Social Alliance of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Industry and Commerce (VENAMCHAM).
